FINAL preparations are being put in place for the opening of a new supermarket – with business chiefs urging shoppers to make the most of the opportunities it will bring.
The Tesco store in Church Street, Saxmundham, is due to open in less than a fortnight.

Waitrose Saxmundham provides free parking for town centre shoppers

From Monday 2nd April, Waitrose Saxmundham will offer two hours’ free parking to town centre shoppers using its car park.  
The car park is now managed by Britannia on behalf of Waitrose.

New Bosses for BoS

A new committee was appointed at the Businesses of Saxmundham (BoS) Annual General Meeting
this week, with Bob Foyers from Bistro at the Deli appointed as Chairman and Councillor Ken
Howe from Felsham Garden Services supporting him in the role of Vice Chairman. Jackey Lennard
of Jacky L Jewellers has taken on the role of Secretary and Hugh Cochrane continues in his valued
position as Treasurer.
