About us
We have a mission to promote prosperity and well-being by representing and working with the local business community to ensure the town is one of the best possible places to do business and a pleasant place for customers to visit.
We have regular meetings (7pm on the third Monday of the month) at the Waitrose Café that enable business owners and representatives to meet others in the town, to exchange information, find suppliers and promote their own businesses.
We lobby various authorities and organisations on behalf of our members and as a part of the Heritage Coast Market Towns Initiative HCMTI.
We support many of the events and festivals which take place in Saxmundham from St George’s day, to the Christmas fair and sponsor the summer hanging baskets.
The Christmas lights are a consideration for the Businesses of Saxmundham but not all we do.
The Association also operates an online directory for all businesses in and around the area of Saxmundham.
