We do hope you can join us on Saturday 3rd December for Christmas in Saxmundham.
Alongside all the gift ideas which our High Street can offer, there will be special events culminating in the grand switch on of the Christmas lights.
Saxmundham Museum is opening especially to join in our celebrations. There, you will find stalls selling crafts and gift ideas - they open at 10am with 'It's a Wonderful Life' playing in the cinema!
You'll find more stalls in the Market Hall plus special offers from our retailers and tradesfolk.
Have you called in to see the Christmas Tree Festival at St John's Church? Final judging takes place during the carol service which starts at 3pm (just after the Primary School's Christmas Bazaar, which starts at 1pm).
The Church is the starting point for the Lantern Procession which this year takes a slightly longer route, via Abbotts Grange along the path behind Waitrose and along to the entrance to the High Street opposite the Trawler's Catch. The procession starts at 3.45pm and is due to assemble for the Lights Switch On at 4.15pm.
Then it's time for a festive sing-a-long in Fromus Square.
Waitrose are kindly supplying mulled wine and tangerines. You'll also find stalls selling hot chestnuts and popcorn - and Santa's Grotto, of course. Advanced tickets to see Santa can be purchased from Crisps the stationers.
Jojo is running a late session at the Crock-n-Roll studio, opening at 5pm - call to book.
